2021 J. M.K Innovation Prize
Deadline: 30 April, 2021.
About: The J.M.K. Innovation Prize seeks to identify, support, and elevate innovators who are spearheading transformative early-stage projects in the fields of social justice, the environment, and heritage conservation. In 2021, we will award up to ten Prizes, each including a cash award of $150,000 over three years, plus $25,000 in technical assistance funds, for a total award of $175,000. Awardees also receive guidance through the Fund and its resource network, providing tools and training that can help turn innovative ideas into life-changing social impacts. Learn more.
ICSD 2021 Call for Abstracts
Deadline: 1 May, 2021.
About: The Global Association of Master’s in Development Practice Programs (MDP), in collaboration with the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), will hold the Ninth Annual International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD) on 20-21 September, 2021 virtually. If you would like to present at the conference, you must submit an abstract as directed below. The conference is also open to observers (i.e. non-presenters). Simply register on the conference website to join us. Registration will open in April 2021.

Nobel Week Dialogue

About: Fueled by a common belief that in order to change the world you need to experience it, EF College Study and The Forum on Education Abroad have created a first-of-its-kind, high-impact student scholarship program, in collaboration with EF’s educational partner the Nobel Prize Museum. This interdisciplinary program, which combines an online project-based course, an international field study in Sweden, and attendance at the 2021 Nobel Week Dialogue, is dedicated to including students from diverse backgrounds. Techstars Sustainability Accelerator in partnership with The Nature Conservancy

About: Techstars Sustainability Accelerator in partnership with The Nature Conservancy is accepting applications through May 12th for the next class of ten world-changing startups. They're looking for startups protecting land and water, providing sustainable food and water, and enabling nature-based solutions to climate change. If you know of anyone that fits that description encourages them to fill out an application. Selected startups will receive up to $120K in funding, participation in the 3-month intensive accelerator, and ongoing mentorship from the networks at Techstars and The Nature Conservancy.
